Encourages an all round fresher, younger, smoother looking complexion. The natural acids present in hibiscus help to purify your skin by breaking down dead skin and increasing cell turnover, they can even help to control acne breakouts.

Honeyquat helps to improve skin texture and surface smoothness. Other Benefits for include increased moisture uptake ability – how much moisture our skin can handle – and leaves us feeling more moisturised and conditioned.

Said to act as a natural anti-inflammatory, jojoba oil is actually a lipid plant wax. It is similar to our own skin’s sebum and is therefore easily absorbed. Excellent for use on inflamed and irritated skin, jojoba oil is perfect for use in balms where extra soothing is necessary. It acts as a gentle barrier against the elements, but is breathable and not heavy.

Moroccan Red Clay also known as Rhassoul clay is known to nourish the skin, even out blotchy skin tone, and reduce acne. There are many clinical studies that have found this type of clay to be effective for increasing skin elasticity due to its high silica and magnesium content

Touted as the leader in anti-aging, rosehip seed truly delivers when it comes to damaged and aging skin. Considered dry in oil form, it penetrates deeply, delivering high levels of essential fatty acids and moisture without leaving a greasy residue. Rosehip seed helps to fade the appearance of scars, fine lines, and wrinkles, and is a powerful anti-inflammatory agent and antioxidant.

Safflower oil has high levels of linoleic acid, making it excellent for helping to balance the sebum levels in the skin. Due to its light, non-greasy consistency, safflower oil is absorbed quickly into the skin, making it an excellent moisturizing facial oil suitable for all skin types

Shea is native to certain parts of Africa, and is a women-run industry. It is a fat extracted from the nut of the shea tree, and is really a story about women being empowered, as millions of women in Africa work to bring us this precious ingredient. Healing to wounds and scars, and shown to minimize fine lines and wrinkles, it is gentle enough to treat diaper rash and sunburns, but powerful enough to be effective against eczema, and dermatitis.

White willow bark contains salicin which helps to alleviate acne and irritation and is suitable for most skin types. Its anti-inflammatory effects have also been shown to diminish wrinkles, reduce the appearance of pores, and even out skin tone while promoting increased firmness. Willow bark also contains tannins which helps to tighten pores, making them appear smaller and less obvious; this helps the skin retain a firm, youthful look. Tannins also help control excess oil, which may alleviate acne.
